Travel Grant Applications are Now Open!
The EPA awards Travel Grants to assist deserving abstract submitters with the travel costs related to attending the European Congress of Psychiatry!
Please note: Travel Grants will be awarded via bank transfer after the Congress, subject to in-person attendance and participation at the Congress.

Criteria for Application
- Applicants must be under the age of 40 at the opening date of the Congress, 3 April 2027.
- Applicants must be psychiatrists or trainees in psychiatry.
- Applicants must have submitted an abstract to the Congress via the website.
- Applications will be judged based on the scientific merit of the abstract submitted to the Congress.
- In order to be considered for a travel grant, applicants must be registered and paid up for the Congress by the Early Bird Registration deadline: 27 January 2027.
- Applicants must submit a copy of their passport or other proof of age document.
- Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from the head of their department, on official institutional letterhead, confirming that the applicant is a psychiatrist or a trainee in psychiatry, and should speak to the scientific merit of the applicant’s work.
Notes
- Only one application per candidate will be considered, regardless of the number of abstracts submitted.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Priority will be given to applicants from a country that is a member of EPA’s Council of NPAs (National Psychiatric Associations). For more information visit: https://www.europsy.net/npa-members.
