Public transport in town:
Prague’s public transportation system, known as Prague Integrated Transport (PID), is highly efficient and well-connected. It includes metro, trams, buses, funicular, and ferryboats. You can use your contactless bank card to travel on all PID services without any extra costs, as the system automatically calculates the cheapest fare for your journey.
By train:
The main railway station for the city is the historic Praha hlavní nádraží (Prague Main Station), located in the city centre. Prague has an excellent range of national and international rail links, with direct daytime trains to major cities across Europe.
The closest metro line to the Prague Congress Centre is Metro Line C (Red Line). The nearest station is Vyšehrad, which is located right next to the venue – just a 2–3 minute walk from the entrance.
This makes Line C the most convenient metro option for reaching the venue from various parts of Prague, including main train stations and the city centre.
By plane:
Václav Havel Airport Prague is the main international airport serving the city. The Airport Express bus runs from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. every 30 minutes, connecting the airport to Prague Main Station. Public buses also connect the airport to various metro stations, making it easy to reach the city centre.
