The EPA is excited to reward 5 selected Early Career Psychiatrists (ECP) in the frame of the ECP Scholarship Programme.
Winners will receive waived registration to participate in the 34th European Congress of Psychiatry, access to one EPA Course, as well as one year of EPA membership and other benefits to attend the Congress.

Every year, the European Psychiatric Association is pleased to award 5 Scholarships to selected Early Career Psychiatrists and trainees to attend the EPA Congress.
The ECP Scholarship Programme provides 5 scholarships, which include:
· Full Congress participation funding – registration, travel allowance to and from the Congress city, and up to four nights of hotel accommodation covered
· Exclusive learning opportunities – access to an EPA Course
· Professional networking – invitation to the ECP Luncheon
· One-year EPA membership – connecting you with a vibrant international community

Applications Will Open Soon!
The Scholarship programme was introduced in 2007 to ensure the continuity of professional support to highly promising early career psychiatrists and to start building European networks of which the scholars can take advantages in a life-long way.
The Selection Committee is composed of all ECPC members, the EPA President, the Chair of the Congress Local Organising Committee and the EPA Secretary for Education.
The Scholarship Programme awards to the 5 winners several advantages such as a financial support to attend the Congress, special access to networking events and to learning opportunities (1 free EPA Course) during the Congress and 1 year of free EPA membership.

Who is Eligible?
Early career psychiatrists (i.e., under 40 years old or within 5 years of completing specialist training) working in countries within the World Health Organisation (WHO) Europe region.
Selection Process
Each candidate will provide the Selection Committee with three items:
- An updated curriculum vitae in English
- A motivation letter to apply for this scholarship
- A signed recommendation letter in English, from the academic supervisor
